Dean’s Ride Information

The 2023 Dean’s Ride will be held at Keel Farms, Plant City, FL.  Dean’s Ride is a CAAMEVENTS Tour Series event. All proceeds from this event go to the Plant City YMCA and supports programs like LIVESTRONG, a free wellness program for cancer survivors, and other programs for their members and the local community. For the past 10 years Dean’s Ride is making a difference in the lives of cancer survivors, and their families. 

This annual event consists of 4 cycling distances: 

  • 61-Mile Metric Century route

  • 35-Mile Half-Metric Century route

  • 24-Mile Quarter-Metric Century route

  • 9-mile Family Ride route

The routes will be traversing quieter country roads North of Plant City.  Riders will be able to enjoy the scenic Plant City countryside and smell the sweet scent of the strawberry fields, along with a few farm animals and experience Keel Farms.  The ride will take you along the beautiful Lake Thonotosassa and several family estates.  The Florida West Coast Chapter of the US Spyder Ryders, along with other motorcyclists will once again provide ride support.  

Pre-ride snacks and refreshments will be available.  Post-ride lunch, music, craft beer and Keel Farms cider will be available for your enjoyment. Shirt type will be a short sleeve style available in both men and women sizes.  

The start and finish of this event will be at Keel Farms, located at 5202 Thonotosassa Rd in Plant City.  Keel Farms is an iconic Plant City establishment known for its farming activities along with restaurant and fine beverage selections.   We look forward to you joining us at the farm and raising money for cancer survivors.
